Amenities:
Linens provided, flower arrangements, initial fruit basket, coffee, sugar, initial first breakfast included, initial bathroom basics.

Number of Rooms:
2 air-conditioned bed rooms (king/queen), 1 loft with fan and queen sized  bed, 1 living room with dining set and a day bed (queen), 1 lounge room with sofa, 1 fully equipped kitchen, 1 laundry room. 2 baby cribs available.

Number of Bathrooms:
2 bathrooms (one with shower & bath tub, one with shower. Both have cold and hot water). 1 extra staff bathroom with outside access. Our water comes from our private 160 foot deep drilled well. It is very clean, there is no additives (Chlorine) in our shower water. Even so clean I recommend not to drink it. For drinking use the drinking water fountain in the kitchen

Entertainment:
Master bedroom: CD/VCD/DVD player, music & movie collection, library with basic Indonesia book collection, Satellite TV with almost 100 channels (CNN, BBC, CNBC, ESPN, Cinemax, Al-Jazeera, Discovery Travel, National Geographic, Fashion TV, Children programs, etc.) Second bedroom: TV with local channels plus CD/VCD/DVD player

Pool:
Private swimming pool 9’ width x 22’ length x 5’ depth (270cmx670cmx153cm)

Kitchen:
Full kitchen, cooking utensils, cutleries and tableware, refrigerator, oven toaster, blender, four range gas oven.

Others:
Laundry room (set outside the main house so there is no disturbance when the maid is doing the laundry). To have your personal laundry done by our maid is included in the rental price.

Views:
Batukaru mountains, rice fields. Nature and garden all around.

Location:
Very convenient, 1 miles (1.6 km) from Ubud central.

Communication:
Two phone lines (land line) can be used with a security deposit. Internet is possible to set up.
If you have tri-band cellular / mobile phone, you just need to buy a cellular phone card chip, almost all providers (e.g. Telkomsel, Indosat, Pro XL) have excellent reception signal in Bali.
To make overseas call, you can either use the public telecommunication booth (“wartel”), or buy a prepaid (Rp 110,000 or about US$12) international phone card and use it with our home phones.

Staff:
1 maid, working 6 days a week from 8.00 – 12. She takes care of cleaning the house, preparing breakfast with your supply, does the laundry. Eating out in Bali is very convenient and relatively inexpensive. You are surrounded by a huge selection of restaurants for those leisurely lunches and dinners, many within easy walking distance.
1 gardener, working 5 days a week from 8.00 – 12. He takes care of the garden, outside area of the house and the swimming pool.
1 on-call house manager Mr. Nyoman. He will check you in and organize  airport pick-up and drop off with our driver Mr. Agung (US$30.-/per car/per ride), Bali tour service, day tour including driver and gas is available for US$60.-/car.  Pick up/drop off and tours can be booked together with the booking of our villa.
Our home does not feature a lobby to call, but at day time our manager is located only a 5 minutes drive from the house and on call for special requests. Minor requests are handled by our maid and gardener. In the late afternoon our manager returns to his village about a 40 minute drive away...

Smoking / Non-smoking:
Our home is a non smoking environment. Smoking is permitted in the garden area. Two chairs and a small table are available outside the house. 

Security:
Strategic doors and windows are screened, electronic keypad safety box available. Two fire extinguishers on site.

Activities nearby:
Tennis (tennis court available in a hotel nearby). Large lap pool in Spa nearby. Gym nearby. Hiking right outside the house. Many art and cultural activities like painting, dancing, birdwatching, silver jewelry making, wood carving, meditation, yoga, rafting, mountain biking, in and around the area.

Monkey forest sanctuary – 5 minutes drive

Shopping – lots of shops in Ubud central
A grocery store is located only about 450meters away.

Sightseeing – some people call Ubud and it’s surrounding a “living” museum. There is just so much to see.

Restaurants – literally hundreds of restaurants within central Ubud area

Fine Dining – “Mosaic” just one minute walk, “Terazo” 5 minutes drive, “Lamak” 10 minutes drive, and restaurants at “Uma Ubud Hotel”, within easy walking distance, “Amandari Resort”, “Alila” or “The Four Seasons”, 5 minutes drive.

Snorkeling / Diving – 40 minutes drive at Sanur Beach, 1 hour drive at Blue Lagoon in Padang Bay, 2 hour drive at Tulamben (wreck diving) or Amed.

Hiking – the house is surrounded by a dozen nice hikes. (Suggestion: buy “Travel Treasure Ubud Map” at Toko Toko Gallery just a few blocks down from the house or Ganesha Bookshop on Ubud main road for a complete hike routes).

Mountain trekking – 50 minutes drive to get to the base of Mount Agung at Pasar Agung Temple. Up and down about 8 hour climb.

Fitness center / gym – 5 minutes drive

Health / Beauty Spa – half a dozen available within walking distance. E.g. Bali Botanica Day Spa within easy walking distance from the house or Spa at Uma Hotel, or Sedona Spa. Spa Hati about 15 minutes drive also has a nice lap pool.

Antiquing – in central Ubud, within walking distance

Cinemas/Movie Theaters – big screen/Dolby sound system cinema only in Denpasar and Kuta Gelleria, 45-60 minutes drive. However, Gaya Fushion of Art in Sayan, Ubud, 5 minutes drive, every Tuesday has a special art movie program, wide screen / projector system.

Museums – Neka Museum of Art and Blanco Museum in walking distance, Rudana Museum and Art Gallery 15 minutes drive.
